Exams can be useful for some students, but they are not the only measure of musicianship. Our classes teach students to keep time, listen closely, recognise musical changes and make confident decisions while playing.
Technique and musical knowledge are connected to grooves, chords, songs and playing situations. The goal is a musician who can participate in music—not only reproduce an exercise for a test.

Soma Music offers private one-to-one drum and guitar lessons for children, teenagers and adults.
Are the classes focused only on music exams?+
No. Students develop practical musicianship including listening, timing, playing complete music and responding in real time. Exam preparation can support a student’s goals, but it is not the sole purpose of the programme.
How much are the classes?+
Classes cost RM180 per month for one private 30-minute lesson each week.
Is there a registration fee?+
No registration fee is charged. A one-month deposit is required.
When are lessons available?+
Lesson slots are available every day except Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, subject to current openings.
Can I replace a missed class?+
A replacement lesson is available when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided.
