Arborea cymbal series comparison for Malaysian drummers
Arborea offers several cymbal collections with different product combinations and visual identities. This guide helps Malaysian drummers narrow the range using musical role, available models and practical buying priorities rather than treating one series as automatically best for everyone.
Start with the sound missing from your setup
Decide whether you need hi-hats for timekeeping, a crash for accents, a ride for patterns or an effects cymbal for colour. Building around a real musical need is more useful than choosing by appearance alone.
AP Series
The AP gallery includes coordinated cymbal-set, crash, China, Ozone China and effects options. It is a useful place to begin when comparing a broader setup or expanding beyond standard crash and ride voices.
Dragon and Ghost Series
The supplied Dragon photography shows cymbal sets and crash options, while the Ghost range includes crashes, splashes and Ozone stack configurations. Compare response, volume and how each voice fits the cymbals you already own.
Knight and other Arborea ranges
Knight product photography includes crash, hi-hat, ride and splash models. Soma Music also lists Gravity, Hero 2.0, Hero N, Mute, Samurai B8, Clap Stack, Ozone, Splash, FH and Chopper options. Killer and Viking series are discontinued and are no longer offered for sale. Confirm the exact model, alloy and current availability before buying.
Compare complete sets with individual cymbals
A coordinated set can simplify a first purchase. Individual cymbals give established players more control over each voice. Listen at a realistic playing volume and compare sustain, pitch, attack and balance.
Hero, Mute and Samurai B8 set prices
Arborea Hero 2.0 and Hero N sets are RM450 per set, each with 14, 16, 18 and 20-inch sizes plus a free 8-inch splash cymbal. The Mute set is RM280 and the Samurai B8 set is RM1,300, each with 14, 16, 18 and 20-inch sizes. The free splash offer applies to Hero 2.0 and Hero N only. Confirm stock and delivery charges before ordering.
Published prices for selected Arborea ranges
Ghost, AP, Knight, Dragon and Gravity use the same published price schedule for matching cymbal types and sizes. A set containing a 20-inch ride, 16-inch crash and 14-inch hi-hat pair is RM2,020. Check the product page for individual options and confirm current stock; other photographed configurations are not automatically included in this set.
